Played this AI story game where you just talk to the character, kind of blew my mind

(Not my video, it's from the company) So I'm in the beta test for a new game called Whispers from the Star and I'm super impressed by the model. I think it’s running on something GPT-based or similar, but what's standing out to me most is that it feels more natural than anything in the market now (Replika, Sesame AI, Inworld)... the character's movements, expressions, and voice feel super smooth to the point where it feels pre-recorded (except I know it's responding in real time). The game is still in beta and not perfect, sometimes the model has little slips, and right now it feels like a tech demo... but it’s one of the more interesting uses of AI in games I’ve seen in a while. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into conversational agents or emotional AI in gaming. Just figure...
